A Message from Welcome to the Jungle

When we launched Welcome to the Jungle, our goal was clear: to help everyone find their rightful place in the world of work. We believed recruitment needed to be more human and transparent. For nearly a decade, this belief has driven us to achieve incredible results: supporting over 50,000 HR professionals in hiring half a million individuals and introducing innovative recruitment solutions.

However, today we face significant challenges. To sustain our mission and future impact, we’ve made the difficult decision to launch a voluntary separation plan in France and to cease operations in the Czech Republic. Below, we explain why and what lies ahead.

Why this decision

Over the past decade, we’ve explored numerous initiatives. While these ventures have been enriching, some have taken us away from our core mission: matching the right talents with the right companies. Despite navigating market challenges better than our competitors, slowed growth in 2024 has limited our ability to fund new opportunities.

These tough but necessary decisions will allow us to achieve profitability in France, focus on high-potential markets like the UK and USA, and drive innovation in the evolving recruitment landscape, particularly with the transformative impact of artificial intelligence.

What will happen next

To refocus our efforts, we are initiating a voluntary departure plan in France through a Collective Mutual Termination Agreement (RCC). This process will affect 35 roles (32 cut, 3 modified) across our Edito & Marketing, Product Marketing, Strategy & Operations, and Revenue teams. At the same time, we will cease our activities in the Czech Republic to prioritize markets with greater potential: France, the UK, and the USA.

Starting today, we will engage in dialogue with the Social and Economic Committee to establish the fairest terms for impacted teams.

Welcome to the Jungle, a common story

This moment marks a turning point for Welcome to the Jungle, and we want to emphasize two important messages.

• First, every team member has contributed to our story and success. Together, we transformed outdated recruitment processes into experiences rooted in transparency, trust, and enthusiasm. These contributions remain a permanent part of our DNA.
• Second, our journey is far from over. As we refocus, 2025 will be a year of growth and renewal. We aim to strengthen our foundations in France, expand in the UK and USA, and continue leading innovation in the recruitment industry.

We understand the challenges ahead and are committed to supporting every team member, whether they are staying or leaving. We have put a thorough support system in place, and our People team, managers, and Executive team are available to address any concerns or questions you may have. 

We will navigate this transition together, with transparency, compassion, and respect.
